Mutt is a powerful, text based desktop email application mainly
used to read electronic email under Unix operating systems. Originally it was
built as a Mail User Agent (MUA) but with the passing years it is used as a mail
client having numbers of in-built commands and configuration directives. Most of
the mail storing format like notably MBOX, MAILDIR, MH, MMDF etc. supported by
it.
